Emmy and BAFTA winner 'True Detective' return comes with an eight part in the second season. In the latest season, a strange murder presenting three enforcement and criminal justice, each of which must control the network of conspiracy and betrayal in a barren area of California.
Colin Farrell (winning the Golden Globe for "In Bruges") plays Ray Velcoro, detective troublemaker whose loyalty was split between the leadership in the police department is corrupt and mafia who control. Vince Vaughn ("Wedding Crashers") acts as Semyon Frank, a criminal and entrepreneurs who are threatened to lose power when legalize its action hampered by the murder of a business associate.
Rachel McAdams ("Midnight in Paris") plays Ani Bezzerides, sheriff detective with no compromise nature make weird than others and how he works. Taylor Kitsch (HBO's "The Normal Heart") serves as Paul Woodrugh, war veterans and motor patrol officers, who had a difficult past and once famous as a result of the scandal that has never happened before.
The other cast includes Kelly Reilly ("Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows") as Semyon Jordan, wife of Frank, a former lower-class artist who became business associates and ambitious; Christopher James Baker ("Gotham") as Blake Churchman; Afemo Omilami ("The Hunger Games: Catching Fire") as Police Chief Holloway; Chris Kerson ("CSI: Crime Scene Investigation") as Nails; and James Frain (HBO's "True Blood") as Lt. Kevin Burris.
Guest star in this season, among others, Lolita Davidovich ("Raising Cain"), W. Earl Brown (HBO's "Deadwood"), David Morse (HBO's "Treme") and Rick Springfield ("Hard to Hold").
The first season 'True Detective' won five Emmy Awards and received 12 nominations Emmys, among the award, Nic Pizzolatto the author, received an award from the Writers Guild of America for Drama Series and New Series.
The first episode of the 2nd season of "The Western Book of the Dead" will premiere at the same time with the United States, Monday, June 22, 8:00 pm on HBO. The story raised the disappearance of a city manager scheme disrupt lucrative land and encourage investigation involving three police officers and a criminal who was turning into a legal business.
