Camerawoman who undermine refugee apologize

Camerawoman in Hungary recorded video kicking and "deliberately undermine" the refugees when they fled from police, apologized after the action is condemned worldwide.


Petra Laszlo said he panicked when hundreds of migrants fleeing from the siege of the police and thought that her would be attacked and therefore had to defend themselves.

She denied that he was racist and received death threats after the incident.

"I'm not a cruel woman ... I am not a racist cameraman," Laszlo said in a written statement on Friday (11/09).

"When I saw the footage ... to be honest I deplore my actions are. I'm ready to be responsible," said Laszlo.

Laszlo action kicks and dropping refugees Roszke recorded near the town, not far from the Serbian-Hungarian border.

This video footage quickly spread on the internet, which makes interrogated by police though later released.


Laszlo was fired from Internet-based television station, N1TV, which is known to have links with the right-wing parties in Hungary, Jobbik. (bbc)
