
Windows 10 has just been released Micrososft can be enjoyed free of charge by the user. However, some users who upgrade Windows 10 from Windows 7 or 8.1 complain about problems that arise in the brand-new operating system, such as the issue about slow boot-up.
Reported by IBTimes, reportedly, a long boot process in Windows 10 is not caused due to large file sizes on Windows OS 10, but due to some malware and startup settings are not optimal.
Microsoft has not acknowledged the existence of this problem and offer an update to fix the bug. However, here are some simple tips for troubleshooting slow boot and boot times in Windows 10.
The first step, the user can run a scan anti-virus or malware thoroughly after the upgrade. So, after Windows 10 successfully installed, immediately run a full system scan with anti-virus or anti-malware to remove infections that may infect a user's PC.
The second step, press and hold down the Ctrl, Shift and Esc to access the Task Manager. Then, select the Startup tab and then sort the items that affect Startup, remove the items in the category High, except for crucial security software, which is installed on the computer.
For example, users can disable AMD and NVidia drivers of startup without affecting the graphics performance. To speed up the boot process, users can also enable or tick on 'Turn on fast startup" in the Control Panel> Power Options.
