Again, Mercedes-Benz issued a super car that is not only luxurious, but also high-tech. Mercedes-Benz F 015 with the concept of Luxury in Motion officially introduced at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in 2015.
This is probably one of the most interesting concepts on display this year at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) and Mercedes-Benz describes it as "self-driving luxury-sedan". So named because the car can move you from point A to point B automatically and need not be driven.
The cabin interior on the Mercedes-Benz F 015 is designed as a lounge with plush sofas that rotate so as to face each other. While six individual displays provide all the necessary controls to access the functions of the vehicle. To get into the car also facilitated with doors that can be opened 90 degrees.
This super car power derived from the electrical arrangement with hydrogen fuel plug-in consists of two electric motors mounted on the rear. Lithium-ion batteries are used enough to travel a distance of 124 miles or about 200 miles. While hydrogen is needed to generate electricity when the move is stored in a tank with a capacity of 5,4 kg.
The system was applied to the Mercedes-Benz F 015 is basically an evolution of the hardware found in the 2011 F 125! Research vechicle. This new application allows the F 015 Luxury in Motion to take 62 mph or 100 km/h in 6,7 seconds to 124 mph or 200 km/h before the electricity runs out. When used as a plug-in hybrid, super car can travel a maximum distance of up to 684 miles, equivalent to 1.100 miles.
