Make sure you are setting the privacy settings correctly so that you feel more secure and comfortable when interacting and networking with friends on Facebook. But the thing is, your account may have been hacked friends when they install some malicious applications.

This is worse, there are irresponsible people who use their account because they forgot to log out. For your safety and your family, it is better not to post important information to Facebook.

Your date of birth and family

You must be happy when getting birthday greetings from friends on Facebook. Surely it makes you impressed to learn that many people who remember and quite concerned with the day of your birth.

Many of the parents who do not want people to know that their children are alone at home. Again, please do not provide information to others that you are alone in the house, especially through Facebook.

You might think just friends see your status. But if your friends Facebook account has been hacked, other people can see your status. It would be nice to not post any status who do not want strangers to know.

Photos and names of children

9 out of 10 parents posting name and date of birth of their child to Facebook after childbirth in hospital. They even sent pictures of their children and to tag it to friends, relatives and their relatives.

This information is actually very risky because it opens up the opportunity for a malicious person to kidnap your child. To launch the action, they can use your child's name and the names of relatives and friends to build trust to the hospital.

If you want to post images of your children to Facebook, at least not to provide personally identifiable information such as full name and date of birth of children. Then the children do not tag photos to friends or relatives. (isk/dew)
